질문 : 웹메일을 쓰면서 메일 온것 알려주는 간단한 어플리케이션?
답 : google notifier 쓰면 됨

설명 :
메일 뿐 아니라 시간에 맞춰 alert 주는 기능 등이 포함돼있음
gmail 과 google calendar 에 사용.

문제해결 :
깔고나면 디폴트로 메일 체크를 약 한시간에 세번 꼴로 (약 20분 간격) 하는데,
이렇게 하면 메일을 오는 즉시 체크하지 못한다.
1분 간격으로 바꿔주고 싶으면 terminal 을 열고 다음을 실행하면 된다.

defaults write com.google.GmailNotifier AutocheckInterval 1

실행하고 google notifier 재시작하면 됨.
